As a motor racing fan Forza Motorsport 4 satisfies my every need as a racing game fan! However, if you require further satisfaction, there are a host of downloadable packages that have been released since the games launch. Today, I’ve had the pleasure of reviewing the latest DLC package titled “The Top Gear pack” which adds 10 new rides and costs a mere 560 MS points.

When I first saw the footage of Sony's upcoming brawler 'Sony All-Stars Battle Royale', I felt a little cheated. It wasn't that the game didn't look good or didn't look fun, it just didn't look like anything new. Sony exclusives, whether it be Journey, Uncharted, Malicious, Dead Nation, inFamous or even Killzone, have always brought something new and original to their respective genres, and from what I've seen, All-Stars isn't – it's just Smash Bros re-skinned.
Last week Sony Entertainment Australia offered us the chance to review one of their latest products the Sony HMZ-T1 Personal 3D Viewer. We jumped at the chance and who wouldn't? This bad boy is designed to bring a 150 plus inch cinema screen experience in to the comfort of your own home!
One thing is for sure, Achievements sell games. Deny it all you want but there is plenty of evidence from many sources that continues to prove that gamers just love achievements. Many gamers have been known to refuse to buy DLC for example if it offers no extra achievement point value. I would have to say I too have been in this category and have avoided certain DLC’s that have failed to reward me as a gamer. Take Forza 4, heaps of DLC and car packs, but not one single achievement, so that is a no buy for me.
Codenamed ‘Orbis’, the PS4 will be dropping its predecessors use of cell processors, instead favouring the use of graphic chips, namely the AMD x64 CPU and AMD Southern Islands GPU. Apparently this will have the grunt to produce a resolution of up to 4096x2160, meaning that any of us interested in buying one better get used to the idea of upgrading our televisions to utilise the power.
2012 marks an exciting year for video gaming in that there is a large expectation amongst the gaming community that the next generation of video consoles is just around the corner. Nintendo has already confirmed that the Wii U will be hitting store shelves around Christmas 2012. No official console announcements have been made from either Microsoft or Sony, but there certainly is a heck of a lot of rumours out there concerning these systems.
Every once and while you come across a unique person with a brilliant idea. That person is Janene a mother from Bankstown that got sick and tired of her four kids either losing or destroying their Nintendo DS games.

It's been a while since I've graced the pages of Console Domination because, quite frankly, French peasants aren't going to raid themselves and it was about time I left the house for a while. Unfortunately, Ulric got us lost on the way back from France, and we ended up going through a time portal and sixteen other dimensions in order to save the world or something. It was hard to keep track with what was going on at the time, with all the plot twists and new crew members that kept talking complete and utter trash.
