The Splatters Video Review

The Splatters is a physics based puzzler game with some fantastic puzzles that involves you controlling a blob of goo with a smiley face and send it into various bombs on the screen.  A simple idea, much like Angry birds, and addictive and fun as hell!

Fez - Video Review

It is not often that a game comes along and satisfies a craving that you did not know you had. Enter small start up Polytron Corporation. Any game that can create such a sensation and then satisfy it by its on existence is special. At only 800 pts., if you have an Xbox 360, there is no reason that you should not own this excellent title.

Fifa Street Video Review

If you’re a football fan, forget reading any further, go and buy FIFA Street it’s not going to let you down. For me, I’ve always been a supporter of the FIFA series buying almost every edition from FIFA 91 to the present. With every new version of FIFA its always about the new engine or the new moves and more sophistication with each iteration of the title. However FIFA Street takes away a lot of the seriousness that the regular FIFA titles have and mixes it up to make it more fun, enjoyable and full of tricks to impress your mates.

Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning Video Review

KingdomsImagine for a moment, if you will, that video games were organic life forms and that three well know role playing titles: World of Warcraft, Skyrim and Fable had a three-way and fired their DNA at each other. Now cast your gaze forward a few months and imagine that this unholy union somehow resulted in an offspring. The resultant progeny would probably yield an RPG title bearing a great deal of resemblance to 38 Studios and Big Huge Games' brand new original IP, Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning. So how does it compare to its inspirations? There's only one way to find out!

Soul Calibur V Video Review

Soul"Long live the 3D fighter!" I hear you chant, and with Namco Bandai's latest addition to the Soul Calibur franchise, it appears that it's here to stay...

For the uninitiated, "Soul" began way back in 1996 on the humble Playstation 1, under the moniker of "Soul Blade" or "Soul Edge" (depending on region.) It recieved critical acclaim, as it was one of the only Weapons based fighters of that era. After numerous sequels on the Dreamcast, Gamecube, Playstation 2, xbox, 360, PSP and ps3, as well as numerous "guest characters" along the way, we have now come to Soul Calibur V....

Rayman Origins Video Review

Rayman_VideoRayman: Origins acts as a re-boot for the long running franchise and ditches the previous 3D platforming elements (and those god awful rabbids)that have featured prominently in its more recent entries in favour of straight up nostalgic, side-scrolling 2D flavour of platformer action. So how does this old school game play stack up in a 2011 retail environment? Let's find out...
